FAQ
Answers about formats, quality, watermarks, supported platforms, legality, privacy, devices, and troubleshooting for MP3stack. Last updated August 23, 2025.
Is MP3stack free?
Yes—100% free. No account and no app required.
Which platforms are supported?
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, and SoundCloud (public items only). Availability varies by region/source.
Do you always remove watermarks?
“No watermark” is offered only when the source exposes a clean stream. Some videos always contain a watermark.
What qualities and formats can I choose?
MP3: 64–320 kbps. MP4: 144p–1080p+, up to 4K where available. You can also export WAV for lossless audio (when supported).
Can I paste a link instead of searching?
Yes. Paste URLs from supported platforms or search by keywords (e.g., Artist – Title, “official / lyrics / live”).
Is this legal and safe?
Use only with your own content or when you have permission. Follow each platform’s Terms and your local laws.
Do you permanently store files?
No. Items are generated on demand from public sources; we don’t permanently store user files.
Where do my files go after download?
Typically your browser’s Downloads folder. On iOS, open the Files app → Downloads. On Android, check Files → Downloads.
Download didn’t start—what should I do?
Allow pop-ups, click the final Download button, try another quality/server if listed, or switch networks (Wi-Fi recommended for large files).
Why is my video/audio missing from results?
The post may be private, age-restricted, region-locked, deleted, or the URL is not public. Only publicly accessible items are supported.
Can I convert to WAV or other lossless formats?
Yes—WAV export is available when the source provides compatible audio. See AIFF to WAV for a lossless guide.
Do you support 60fps or HDR?
We fetch the best stream exposed by the platform. If 50/60fps or HDR exists for that item, you can select it in Preview; playback may be tone-mapped on some devices.
Can I trim audio or create ringtones?
Yes—when trimming is shown on the download screen. Pick the in/out points and export a shorter MP3.
How big will my file be?
Rough guides (per ~5 minutes): MP3 128 kbps ~4–5 MB; 192 kbps ~6–7 MB; 320 kbps ~9–10 MB. MP4 360p ~15–30 MB; 720p ~40–80 MB; 1080p ~70–140 MB.
Does MP3stack keep my personal data?
We’re privacy-aware: browser-based workflow, no login. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do you support playlists, albums, or long videos?
Yes—when the source exposes them as public items. Large downloads need stable Wi-Fi and enough storage.
Can I use the downloads commercially?
You’re responsible for rights clearance and licenses. When in doubt, obtain permission from the copyright holder.
I see “no audio” or “video only”—why?
Some platforms separate audio/video at higher qualities. Choose a mixed stream or let the tool merge audio+video where offered.
Are captions or subtitles included?
When a source provides caption tracks publicly, you may see a subtitles option. Otherwise, captions aren’t embedded.
Any rate limits or quotas?
Heavy usage may be throttled by source platforms. Try again later, switch networks, or pick a lower quality.
Which browsers and devices work best?
Chrome/Firefox on desktop; Safari on iOS; Chrome on Android. Smart TV browsers can preview, but some limit saving.
How do I report abuse or request removal (DMCA)?
Where can I start quickly?
